About Hapo

HAPO Community Credit Union was founded in 1953, as a credit union for the non-exempt employees of the Hanford Nuclear Project. HAPO is an acronym for Hanford Atomic Products Operations. HAPO has since converted it's charter from a federal credit union to a state chartered credit union, thereby changing our name to HAPO Community Credit Union. So if you live or work anywhere in the State of Washington, you can join HAPO, "The Credit Union of Choice".

HAPO Community Credit Union has been providing a quality banking alternative for people like you and your family for over 50 years. As a member of this not-for-profit cooperative, you also become one of the owners, with all the rewards credit union membership has to offer. HAPO has over 65,000+ members with over $500 Million in assets. We have financial centers in Richland, Pasco, Kennewick, Sunnyside and Yakima.
