e-Statement FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I have my statements delivered online?

Online statements will provide you with:

  • The ability to view, print and save an electronic copy of your statement(s).
  • Faster access to your monthly or quarterly statement as US Postal mail time is eliminated.
  • Access to previous statements.

E-statements have a positive impact on the environment by eliminating the use of paper, and the waste and resources associated with producing paper. Not only do e-Statements provide you with flexibility and convenience, e-Statements help lessen the stress we put on the earth by going paperless and eliminating a paper trail.


How do I enroll to receive e-Statements?

Enrolling for e-Statements is easy. Once you are logged into Online Banking, follow these steps:

  • Click Additional Services button
  • Click on the "e-Statements" button.
  • Select the account that you would like to enroll in e-Statements.
  • Read and agree to the terms of the e-Statement Consent.

Note: You will need to follow these steps for each account you would like to enroll.


Will my e-Statement look like my paper statement?

Yes, your e-Statement will contain all of the same information you are used to seeing and will look like the one you currently receive by mail.

Is it safe to receive my statements online?

Yes, your statement(s) will be accessible via HAPO's secure Online Banking. The latest version of any of the popular browsers which support 128-bit encryption should work correctly. These include, but are not limited to: Netscape, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple's Safari.

What software will I need to view my e-Statements?

e-Statements will be in Portable Document Format ("PDF"). You will need to have a software program that allows you to display PDF files such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or the Apple Macintosh Preview program. Adobe Acrobat Reader may be downloaded free at www.adobe.com.

Can I print my e-Statement?


Can I save my e-Statement?

Yes. To save your e-Statement simply select "File/Save As" on the toolbar and select a location on your computer to save the e-Statement.

Will my previously mailed statements be available on Online Banking?

Yes. At least twelve months of e-Statements will be made available to you.

Will I still have access to the worksheet and disclosures that are usually on the back of my paper statements?

Yes, the worksheet and disclosures will be the last page of your e-Statement.

Can I cancel my e-statements and begin receiving paper statements?
