How will this affect me?

    When is this happening?

    Beginning on May 24, 2019 at 6:00 PM, our systems will go offline until Tuesday, May 28 at 9:00 AM to complete the system upgrade. 

    Do I need to do anything to prepare for the system upgrade?

    In order to prepare for limited access to your account over Memorial Day Weekend, we recommend you: 

    • Withdraw extra funds in the days prior to the system upgrade.
    • Use your HAPO VISA credit card. 
    • Make sure you have some checks on hand.
    • Get all deposits in early as branches will be closed. HAPO ATM and mobile deposits will not be available.

    Will I have access to Online and Mobile Banking?

    No, Online and Mobile Banking will be offline during the system upgrade. 

    Will business hours change during the system upgrade?

    Yes, all branch locations normally open on Saturdays, including the Contact Center, will be closed. Chat, telephone banking, and social media channels will also be offline as we complete the system upgrade. We will open for regular business hours at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. 

    Will I have access to my funds during the system upgrade?

    Yes. Credit cards and checks will not be affected and can be used as normal. ATM and debit card transactions will still work, but transactions may be limited. For that reason, it is important to have a backup payment method prepared should you experience intermittent disruption of service. 

    What if I need to make a deposit over the weekend?

    Deposits can be made using night drop services and will be posted on the next business day. HAPO ATMs will not accept deposits. 

    What is the best way to contact HAPO before, during and after the system upgrade?

    Before the system upgrade: If you have any questions, please contact us during business hours by phone at 509-943-5676, chat or in person at the nearest branch.

    During the system upgrade all forms of communication will be offline. It is imperative that you prepare for limited access to your account during the upgrade by having a backup payment method in case of an emergency. 

    While we anticipate minimal impact for our members, after the system upgrade takes place, all staff will be prepared to answer any questions you have. We will have extended Contact Center hours after the upgrade.

    • Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, May 31, 2019: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Chat: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
    • Saturday, June 1, 2019: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Chat: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
    • Monday, June 3, 2019: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Chat: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
