Account Access & Login

Business - How will I log into Online Banking at HAPO?

On 11/10, all Business Administrators and users will receive two separate emails — one containing your username and one containing your temporary password. After receiving these, go to hapo.org, enter your username, then your password, and follow the prompts to finalize your account setup.

Business - Will my login credentials change?

Your login credentials will remain the same unless your current username does not meet HAPO’s requirements. Business Users who do not have credentials for businesses they have access to will receive an email with a temporary username to use for your initial login.

Business - Why would I have more than one set of credentials to log into Online Banking?

If you are a business user acting on behalf of a single business, you will have one set of credentials. If you conduct business for multiple, unrelated businesses, you will need a separate set of credentials for each entity.

Business - What would prevent me from being able to see all business accounts I usually see?

At system conversion, most businesses will be able to view and access the same accounts they view and access today. If you have questions about the accounts you view post system conversion, please contact HAPO.

Business Administrator

Business - What is the role of an Online Banking Business Administrator?

An Online Banking Business Administrator is an authorized signer or business owner who manages users within Online Banking. This role is responsible for assigning permissions, setting approval thresholds, and maintaining oversight of user access. If you have any questions about who is named as Online Banking Administrator for your business, please contact Community First Bank.

Business - Who can set up new users under my business?

An Online Banking Business Administrator will be responsible for creating or modifying business users and managing their permissions.

Business - If a new account is added, who gives access to the business users?

If a new account is opened or added to your business relationship, an Online Banking Business Administrator must give access to business users.

Business - How do I reset a password for a business user?

Within Online Banking by clicking Manage Users.

Business - How do I change user permissions?

Within Online Banking by clicking Manage Users. In addition to the current permission options, HAPO offers an additional expanded variety of permissions.

Business - Which business users can transfer funds between accounts?

Business users who have been granted both “View Balances” and “Internal transfer” permissions will be able to make transfers between accounts.

Business - Do I need to review my business users’ permissions?

Yes. To ensure all business users have the appropriate access, please review their permissions and make any adjustments as needed. We made every effort to align Community First permissions with comparable HAPO permissions, however there were some cases where an exact match wasn’t available. This means some users may have slightly reduced access until you make any desired adjustments.

Business User

Business - If I need my password reset, who do I contact?

An Online Banking Business Administrator must reset your password.

Business - What if I cannot see accounts I need to see?

An Online Banking Business Administrator must update your user permissions to give you access to view accounts.

Business - Will my user permissions remain the same?

Yes. Existing user permissions will be transferred.

ACH & Wires

Business - Will my ACH templates carry over?

Yes! If you are currently enrolled in ACH Origination, your templates and the recipients assigned to them will transfer and be available after the conversion.

Business - Can I do same day ACH?

Yes! If you are currently enrolled in ACH Origination, you will have the ability to process Same-Day ACH items for an additional fee. Please note that same-day ACH transactions must be submitted by the daily cutoff time of 12:00 PM to be eligible for same-day processing.

Business - Will I still have access to send wires?

Yes. If you are currently enrolled in wire transfers through Online Banking, your templates and recipients will carry over to HAPO and remain available.

Business - Will my ACH Origination and/or Wires recipients transfer over?

Recipients must be assigned to a template in order to transfer to HAPO. Standalone recipients that are not linked to a template will not convert. We highly recommend reviewing your recipients and ensuring they are attached to a template before November 6^th to avoid any disruption.

Business - What happens to my payment history from ACH/Wire originations?

Payment history from your ACH or Wire templates will not convert. You will need to download and save your existing payment history for each of your ACH and Wire templates.

Business - What are HAPO’s standard cutoff times for ACH and Wire transactions?

Standard cut off times for ACH transactions is 3:00 PM and standard cutoff times for domestic wires are 1:00PM.

Business - When sending an ACH payment file, when should I expect the funds to be deducted from my account?

ACH payment files are "pre-funded" meaning the funds are deducted from your account in advance of the settlement date. You can expect funds to be deducted from your account 2 business days prior to the transaction settlement.

Business - What ACH file types can I import?

You can import two types of files — NACHA (pass-through) or CSV.

NACHA files are standard ACH formatted files called Pass-Through files.
CSV files must contain a minimum of six fields, including a Recipient ID field, to import successfully.

Business - What is a Recipient ID?

This is a unique number defined by you to identify the recipient that is different than their Recipient Name.

Business - What if I do not currently use a Recipient ID field in my CSV ACH file import?

The Recipient ID field is required however, can be left blank if unused but must be acknowledged as a field during the import. To ignore and leave blank during the import your file must include a header row.

Business - At Community First Bank, I used to get text or email alerts when an ACH was waiting for approval. Will that still happen?

If you’re a user with ACH approval rights, you’ll receive email notifications only when an ACH is waiting for approval. Text alerts and push notifications are not available. If you had text notifications set up at Community First Bank, you’ll want to make sure your email address is up to date so you don’t miss any approval reminders.

Positive Pay

Business - Will I still have access to Positive Pay?

Yes. If you are currently enrolled in Positive Pay, your existing Positive Pay service will carry over and remain available at HAPO.

Business - Will I have access to approve items in Positive Pay on 11/7?

Yes, however the cutoff time to approve Positive Pay exceptions on 11/7/2025 will be 9:00 AM in preparation for the system conversion.

Business - I’m having trouble accessing Positive Pay — the link I used before isn’t working. What should I do?

If you bookmarked the Positive Pay website from Community First Bank, that link will no longer work after conversion. To fix it, remove the old bookmark and access Positive Pay by logging in to HAPO’s online banking. From there, use the Positive Pay link within the system which will take you to the correct site.

One-Time, Recurring & Scheduled Transfers

Business - Will I still be able to send funds to my other accounts at other Financial Institutions?

External transfers are not available on the Business Online Banking platform. However, you may apply for enrollment in ACH Origination, which allows you to send funds to another financial institution.

Business - What will happen to my existing scheduled transfers?

Scheduled Transfers set up between business accounts with the same ownership will continue without interruption. Transfers between businesses with different ownership or to another person are not available at HAPO and will be cancelled at conversion.

Business - Does HAPO offer Person to Person transfers?

No. At this time, HAPO does not offer Person to Person transfers outside of HAPO. To send funds to someone outside of HAPO, you may set up a payee through BillPay, enroll in ACH Origination or Wire Transfers.

RDC

Business - Can I use the same scanner I currently have for Remote Deposits?

If you currently use a Panini scanner, you will be able to continue using it after the conversion. Please note that funds availability may differ, and all deposited checks are subject to HAPO’s Funds Availability Policy

Bill Pay

Business - If I currently have bill pay will that carry over to HAPO?

Yes! If you are currently enrolled in BillPay at CFB, your BillPay settings will transfer to HAPO with minimal changes. Payees that can receive payments via ACH will have funds clear within two business days of the payment date. For payees that receive a paper check, the funds will clear from your account once the check has been presented for payment.

Business - Who has access to bill pay?

Business users who currently have Bill Pay access will retain it for all accounts they are authorized to access.

Autobooks

Business - Will my Autobooks templates carry over?

Yes. Your current Autobooks experience will be transferred to HAPO seamlessly. You will also be contacted by Autobooks prior to the conversion with additional details.

Tokens

Business - Can I continue using my existing token?

With HAPO’s multi-factor authentication, tokens will no longer be required for login. However, your token will still be required to initiate ACH transactions and Wire transfers.

Business - How do I set up my existing token in the new system?

When logged into Online Banking, access “My settings” then “Security”.

Direct Connect/Quicken

Business - If I currently use Intuit products at CFB, will I still have the same connection at HAPO?

Yes. Prior to conversion, you will need to deactivate your current Community First Bank instance(s) with Intuit so that you can login post conversion. If you do not deactivate prior to system downtime, it will result in 2 accounts with Intuit.

Features

Business - Will e-Statements continue to be available?

At the time of conversion, only Online Banking Business Administrators will be able to view e-Statements. Afterward, an Online Banking Business Administrator can manage user permissions and enable e-Statement access for other business users.

Business - Will I have access to my Tax forms within Online Banking?

No, tax forms are mailed out annually or as requested.

Business - I used to use “Ask a Question” in Community First Bank’s online banking to ask about a specific transaction. Will I still have that?

HAPO’s online banking doesn’t include that exact feature, but you still have easy ways to get help!

Why is my certificate balance showing $100 less than expected?

At HAPO, all certificates require a minimum balance of $100. For this reason, your initial balance in online banking will display exactly $100 lower than the full amount.
